Our single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignons champion the unique hillside terroir of Napa Valley’s famed Oakville district. This coveted piece of real estate ishome to some of the world’s most celebrated Cabernet Sauvignon producers including, Dalla Valle, Showket, Turnbull, Oakville Ranch and Joseph Phelps', Backus Vinyard. Screaming Eagle and Rudd lie just across the Silverado Trail from our property.
In addition to our own Sassi di Casanova Vineyard, which is planted equally to Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, we produce single vineyard designate cabernets showcasing nearby Saunders' Ranch and Tierra Roja Vineyard. All three vineyards produce naturally low yields of intensely flavored and complexily structured fruit from vines stressed by the steep terrain; rocky soils, mild consistent breezes, and full sun exposure. While many variables, including clonal selection, plant density, trellising, vine age, altitude and blend contribute to the wine’s individual character; the signature black cherry and high notes unique to the heart and soul of the Oakville slopes are present in all ENZO WINES. They all show love and caring from vine to fermentation, to judicious barrel selection and cellaring practices.
